It has been brought to our attention by two of our clients that there are at least two municipal lien search companies, that we are aware of, telling folks the code information can be found online. This is not true...when you look up cases you receive information on building violations only...it does not include any other type of violation such as lot mowing, things wrong with the buildings, etc. If you accept the online code information you may have an open code/lien and not know it.
